Focus on your goals
There are 3 lists that you should make for accomplishing your goals:
1. Write out the greatest goals that you want to achieve in your life
2. Write out the things that needs to be done this year in order to reach your life goals
3. Write out what keeps you focused on the things that are required today in order to reach your life goals.
In order to make this system work you need discipline. The ultimate winner is the one that has the discipline to do this every day of their life! It is very easy to write out goals but the people who truly believe that they can do it and stay focused are the ones who prosper.
I never wrote out goals until about 11 years ago and since I did it has truly changed my life! I felt horrible if I didn’t do what I knew I needed to do to reach my goals. I believe that all the success that I have had over the last 11 years is directly related to that hot summer afternoon when I sat there for about 4 hours and wrote out all my goals!
Make a commitment right now if you haven’t already to sit down by yourself or with your partner and put your future on paper! You will regret it if you don’t!
Don’t let the news or other people distract you or bring you down. The worst hell you will ever face is the hell you create in your own mind. Don’t dwell on the negatives; think about all the positives in your life and all the good things that you are going to do in your life! Keep focused on your goals and never, ever give up. Remember, bad times bring great opportunities.
Turn your thought into action as fast as you can. Don’t sit around and think about all the things that you are going to do, just do it! I know so many people that I have met over the years that are constantly researching, thinking, and coming up with great ideas, but they never engage and act on them. It’s almost like they are afraid of the possibility that they may fail. Forget that! Don’t put things like that in your mind, go out and dive in head first knowing that failure is not an option. Ultimately no matter what happens, you will learn from your experiences and use that knowledge to reach your goals.
The opportunity that is at hand right now for all of us is absolutely one of those once in a lifetime opportunities. To be in on the ground floor of a company that will be a multi-billion dollar company is almost unbelievable. Those of you who do believe in the company and yourself are the ones that will be rewarded handsomely.
